Skied in Hofer Lakes area today. Winds from the SW to W formed sensitive soft wind slabs from the new low density snow (4"). Climbing on these slabs produced cracking. I stayed on lower angle slopes, but cut a turn to test a small rollover feature and got a 10' wide propagation about a foot deep. Skiing was fast and fun on lower angle slopes.
