Dug pit on east-facing (90°) ridge off north face, clear day, 15 cm fresh snow overnight, slope angle 30°, elevation 7200, air temp -6°C, no wind, snow depth 1.75m, snowpack generally right-side up, low-density layer 65 cm, facets, Extended column test failed at 28 taps on weak layer at 65cm, no sliding of block (ECTN#28). Dug to ground, 30 cm of depth hoar 145-175 cm
