Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

HS at 8200’ on shoulder of Angel Peak was 180cm. Surface was wind affected as we experienced moderate to strong winds at most elevations.
Moderate results on compression test 60cm down on top of the stout MF crust (from rain maybe?). Got out the scope to look at the weak layer but blowing snow rendered my scope unusable and getting a good sample difficult at best. I suspect still some facets living there.
