The Wallowa Avalanche Center forecast area covers the Blues, Elkhorn, and Wallowa Mountain Ranges.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>POSITION TYPE:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Seasonal, Full Time, Early November through early April\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>COMPENSATION:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> $25-$30\/hour DOE<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>CLOSING DATE:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Closed when filled<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>POSITION DESCRIPTION:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Wallowa Avalanche Center is hiring one Avalanche Forecaster\/Educator to join our team. This position will work in both field and office settings to independently issue Avalanche Forecasts across four zones.
